BEFINETOUR PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING IN ANTWERP

The BEFINETOUR kick-off meeting, an Erasmus+ KA220-VET project involving institutions and educational centers from five European countries, took place in Antwerp in May 2025: Spain (Department of Education – Government of Navarra), the Netherlands (ROC Midden Nedderland), Belgium (Stedelijk Onderwijs), Italy (Consorzio Istituti Professionali), and Finland (Saima Vocational College Sampo).

The meeting brought together representatives from these five entities on the 14th and 15th, all of them members of the NAVE alliance, a strategic collaboration network created in 2018 to strengthen and deepen international cooperation in the field of vocational training.

The BEFINETOUR project, led by Finnish partners, seeks to make vocational training in the tourism sector more practical and sustainable, providing strong European value by combining different cultural perspectives on consumer behavior and sustainability. Over its two-year duration, it will contribute to strengthening the role of vocational training in promoting green skills, supporting the tourism sector's transition toward more sustainable practices.
