Centers of Excellence and National Reference Centers

The National Network of Centers of Excellence in Vocational Training, comprised of 66 centers distributed across the 17 Autonomous Communities, is characterized by its focus on innovation, applied research, and the incorporation of disruptive technologies, creating environments and projects that foster entrepreneurship, internationalization, and digital and methodological transformation. These centers offer training in diverse sectors such as the automotive, audiovisual, healthcare, transport and logistics, agri-food, hospitality, tourism, aeronautics, renewable energy, information technology, mechatronics, and cybersecurity industries, in addition to collaborating in curriculum updates and teacher training.

On the other hand, the National Reference Centers are public institutions specialized in innovation and experimentation in vocational training, focusing on specific productive sectors through professional families. With a national presence in different autonomous communities, these centers are leaders in their fields, promoting research and innovative measures to meet the needs of emerging sectors and guarantee the quality and relevance of training throughout the vocational training system.
