Robotics Hackathon

Robotics hackathon aimed at students in Basic and Special Vocational Training (Intermediate students may participate if places are not filled with basic students).

The hackathon will be held in three phases:
 
  • An initial training phase for teachers, which will consist of assembly, programming, and exploration of the robots' capabilities. (This initial training is scheduled to take place in October-November.)
  • A second exploration phase, where the robots will be provided to teachers, and they will be able to explore their use in the classroom with students. (This phase will begin in November, at the end of the training, and will conclude just before the competition.)
  • A third competition phase, where a small group of students will compete at the end of the course to complete a challenge, which the robots must complete within a specified time. During the training, clues will be given about the structure and nature of the potential challenge. (The competition is scheduled for the end of the 2025-2026 academic year, between May and June.)
